New Passengers & First Flight

Today I got a chance to fly some new passengers. I had offered several people airplane rides before I got my ticket. I had to make good on the offers. The neat thing about this trip was that I gave someone their first airplane ride. My friend was flying with me and at the last minute we added her young son as a passenger. He had never been in an airplane before. He had a mile wide grin the entire time. I'm surprised his face doesn't hurt from smiling so much. And while my friend had been in an airplane before, this was her first time in a "small plane." We headed out across the Chesapeake Bay and managed to fly over her house. She was able to snap lots of pics.

One of the best parts of flying has been taking passengers with me. Showing someone their house or a familiar place from up in the air is exciting. The world suddenly becomes a different place from up above and I always manage to see something new every time I fly.
