First Passenger

It finally came time for me to exercise my pilot privileges and take my first passenger up for an airplane ride. My wife was brave enough to fly with me and we headed out for a flight that took us over our house. At least she got to see it. I was busy flying the plane and didn't have a chance to find it. There were only a few bumps along the way, otherwise the ride was smooth. I was nervous because first impressions mean a lot. If we had a bad first flight then the possibility of future flights would be in jeopardy. My nervousness increased as I entered the traffic pattern to land. That is what your passengers remember most...the landing. I did all that "pilot stuff" and made one of the best landings ever. I might have spoiled her with such a greaser. What fun!
