Vacation in Cape May, NJ

This past weekend we visited Cape May, New Jersey for the first time. Before we went we did some Internet searches and found a Bed and Breakfast that looked good. We were very pleasantly surprised. The Inn at The Park was run by a husband and wife. The house was circa 1896. The location was great. We could walk to any of our chosen destinations in about 10-15 minutes.

Our hosts were both trained at the CIA.
No, they weren't spies. (Culinary Institute of America)...Chef School.
We were treated to gourmet breakfasts in the morning and wine and hors d'oeuvres every afternoon. The food was great. The room was great. We had a good stay. We managed to get out into town to see some of the local sites. We also went out to the local spa for a massage. There are many restaurants and historical buildings throughout town and we only scratched the surface.

We also travelled to nearby Sunset Beach and the Cape May lighthouse.

Overall we had a great mini-vacation. I highly recommend that you visit Cape May. Hopefully next time I visit I will be flying into the airport instead of driving for 3+ hours.
